Rescue Bengals:
What must it be like for a cat to lose its home and its family? Leopard Print knows that each of these cats deserves a family in which it can thrive and we're striving to make their stay comfortable, help get them acclimated and properly socialized and of course, we want each of these kitties to find a new forever home.
Each furry friend is a little different than the next and with helpful descriptions, we're sure you'll find someone you love.

Leopard Print Bengals is a small in-home Bengal rescue facility owned by Paul and Linda Horn. We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our facility is currently focusing on our Rescue Bengal work in helping find homes for Bengal cats who have lost their families. We believe in a more personalized approach which gives us the ability to really nurture the rescue animals that come our way. By giving them the medical attention and socialization they need and deserve, each cat we bring in is brought back to mental and physical health before he or she is ready for adoption, so all of our rescue animals really do, "look wild, but act mild."
We recently phased out our breeding program, but are currently continuing our focus on rescue work in fostering displaced Bengal cats by rehabilitating them and helping them find new forever families to adopt them.
Unfortunately, when a Bengal cat loses its family, the options for that cat are limited. Because these cats are so beautifully "wild" looking, some individuals are mistakenly fearful of them so these stunning animals end up on the street without a home or in an overburdened kennel, where their chances of survival are minimal. These cats have nowhere to go, no one looking out for them, and their lives tend to be short-lived.
Leopard Print Bengals specializes Bengal rescue by taking in displaced animals, keeping them off the streets and freeing up space and resources at local kennels and pounds. We then strive to re-socialize cats who have been mistreated and provide a stable and nurturing living environment for all of our temporary guests. Finally, we help these orphans get over any illnesses and make sure they are as physically and mentally healthy as possible before adopting them out to new "forever" families.
